The Garden Path is a tea cosy life sim that looks flat out of a painting
The Garden Itinerary, an incredibly cozy-looking for life sim from solo developer carrotcake, is gallery to PC later this year.
The game begins equal other slice-of-liveliness sims: You start a new liveliness surrounded by nature, come to know the strange characters who inhabit the space alongside you, and serenely extend the time fishing or horticulture.
Clock time in The Garden Path passes at the charge per unit of real-world clip, meaning you derriere plant few pansies before you get along to bed and rouse up in the morning to construe they've started growing. A number of different characters will pop into your neck of the woods from time to time, wish a fisherman OR a Camellia sinensis-brewer.
The turn over-drawn graphics is quite striking, a bit like a moving landscape painting surgery the kind of storybook your mum would scan to you as a minor. There are loads of earthy tones in the muted colour pallet, giving information technology a relaxed, cottagecore-lite vibe.
It looks like a rather warm and inviting experience, one and only that you'll be able to actually take your time with. Cosy life sims have really been thriving over the last several years: Unusual standouts include Stardew Vale, Cozy Woodlet, and the upcoming Hokko Life. I'm 100% here for it.
At that place's no solid release see for The Garden Path yet, but information technology's expected to unblock on Steam sometime in 2021.
