Summary of the Episode

In the previous episode, Naruto saw Hinata being killed in front of his eyes and loses control over himself. At the everyman point of his life, he decides to let the Ix-Tails take full command of him, and proceeds to remove the seal. Every bit he is about to remove it, the Quaternary Hokage appears in forepart of him and stops him from doing it.

This episode starts with Naruto wondering how the Fourth Hokage knew his name. He explains that he is Naruto's father and that he had placed his psyche into the seal, and so if in that location came a solar day when Naruto did something like this, he could be there to finish him.
